Trunk is made from a dust and water resistant fabric in 30 yard lengths, which are then cut to your expectations. Trunk has two channels; one for power cables and one for communications and computer cords. Both channels are fitted with longitudinal Velcro© fastenings, making them extremely simple to open and close.
The Trunk anchorage point, which we call its "shark fin", is similarly equipped with Velcro© and thus can be fastened anywhere along the Trunk. The distance between the "shark fin" and the cable outlets (for instance in the ceiling or via a cable ladder) defines the radius within which the work staten can be moved with its connections intact.
Trunk is a patented Swedish product, developed in order to meet current demands for flexibility. Trunk also fulfills EU standards regarding safety distances between power and communications cables.
In 1999 Trunk was given the award Excellent Swedish Design (Utmärkt Svensk Form) by the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design.
